On the second floor of a building close to the Shianbashi tram stop, in Aburaya-cho, Nagasaki City. At Tsubaki, which has elements of both a bar and a restaurant, you can enjoy a meal with hand selected Japanese sake. Nagasaki Prefecture is blessed with bountiful nature, and offers plenty of opportunity to procure seasonal fish and vegetables. The dishes served at our restaurant are all exquisite, making use of vegetables from Shimabara, smoked mackerel from Goto Island, Nagasaki Wagyu, and other flavor-rich ingredients from Kyushu. The flavor provided by our collection of sake from every region of Japan, including Nagasaki Prefecture, is sure to be a fine addition to the memories of your stay in Japan. This vegetable sauté utilizes a number of vividly colored vegetables produced in the bountiful nature of Shimabara Peninsula in Nagasaki Prefecture. With its elegant presentation, it is highly esteemed by many for the rich sweetness of its vegetables.
Nagasaki Wagyu has a good balance of both red and marbled meat, and is characteristic for its vivid color and rich flavor. After grilling the surface to seal in the juices, it is finished in the oven. Enjoy the overflowing umami in every bite in your mouth.

We offer sofa seating, the most popular, counter seats, for smaller parties, and hori-gotatsu style zashiki booths (Japanese table with sunken space for feet). The zashiki booths offer an elegant space with a Wa atmosphere that seat up to 20 guests in total.Enjoy an refreshing meal in our refined Japanese rooms.
We have counter seats, sofa booths, which can seat either 6 or 12 people, and hori-gotatsu booths (Japanese table with sunken space for feet), which can seat up to 20 people. The counter seats have removable arm rests to make it easier to talk with your companion, and our sofa seats are adjusted to a height that is easy both sit and stand up from.
